Yesterday’s Eyes – Lady History
It’s said that “history seldom discloses it’s alternatives”.
And indeed one can never discern with exacting clarity
If it was wisdom that may have saved us,
Or simply fate when it betrays us
Yet there is a teacher and a sage, of that yet to be
And through Yesterdays Eyes we will follow our fine guide
And walk deliberately, with Lady History.
She is kind to all of her students
She disciplines the forgetful
She teaches the self-aware
She rewards the tenacious
Listen to her
Watch her
And treasure her intuition.
